D. S. Howland, CFA® founded Howland and Associates in 1992 to serve friends, family, and high-net-worth individuals with her proprietary investment management methods. She pioneered quantitative equity analysis and has further refined her successful approach to portfolio management for nearly fifty years.

Dee graduated with a degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1985. She has been a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFAI) since 1977 and is the Past President of Chartered Financial Analysts of Tampa Bay.

Dee appreciates and wants to preserve the oceans of the world. She scuba dives, snorkels, kayaks, and enjoys introducing her grandson to the waters and its creatures.
